Its all very well to fill lines, augment lips, get rid of wrinkles with botulinum toxin… BUT if your skin looks dull and lifeless you are not going to get the most from your other treatments.

I have an absolute passion for skin!  Dull skin, pigmented skin, rosacea skin, acneic skin, weathered skin… you name it, I will do my best to help you.

I offer complimentary skin consultations at TK Appearance Medicine. Together we can make a plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. If I don’t offer a treatment that I think you require, I will very happily refer you on to the experts that do, be it another nurse, beautician or specialist. I have had extensive training in both skin, skincare and the treatments I offer here in New Zealand and overseas. 

Hydrating Facial Peels

I am passionate about the peels I stock and the results they can achieve. Peels can work in conjunction with other treatments or as a stand alone treatment. The Lactic peels I stock from Aspect Dr produce amazing results without annihilating the skin and with very little downtime. They can take a dull lifeless skin and transform it into hydrated, bright skin.

Deeper Peels and Needling / Stamping

If your skin is more damaged we have stronger treatments available, but they do come with a bit more downtime. Salicylic and Vitamin A based peels are great for this. But why stop there? If you really want to give your canvas an overhaul, ask me about needling (also commonly known as stamping or dermastamping). Needling is fantastic for collagen induction, refining the skin and strengthening the vasculature of the skin.

Blading / Dermaplanning

Blading / dermaplanning is an extremely popular treatment. I use a surgical blade to carefully remove all of the fine, downy facial hair (peach fuzz). This also removes any dead surface skin cells with it. The end result is a smooth, hairless face. Your makeup will sit flawlessly, and your skincare products will be absorbed better. No need to worry about any of those fine, fluffy annoying hairs growing back thicker or blacker… this is a myth!
