BOTULINUM TOXIN TREATMENTS

Here at my clinic I inject Dysport® and Xeomin®, these two toxins as well as Botox®, are the three most common toxins on the New Zealand market.

All three toxins in clinical studies have shown to produce very similar results both in efficacy and safety. It really comes down to injector preference as to which ones they choose to inject.

What is Botulinum Toxin used for?

The most common areas I inject are crowsfeet (smile lines), the forehead (to help reduce horizontal lines) and the frown. There are a number of other muscles in the face that we can inject to help with unwanted muscle movement, all of these can be discussed at your initial consultation to see if you are an appropriate candidate.

Free Consultations

I offer free consultations prior to any botulinum toxin treatment to discuss costs, risks and what is involved in the injecting process. If you choose to go ahead after this discussion a further half an hour appointment will be made.

How does Botulinum Toxin work?

Toxin generally takes 3-4 days to start working, I like to see all my first time clients back at the two week mark when the toxin has fully kicked in to check that the client is happy and I am happy with the results we have produced. Pre photos are always taken.
